Sharm el Sheikh Diving World has been the first Italian center to be established in Sharm. Operative since 1990 within the Kheima, it moved in 1999 to Marina Travco tourist port. Today, after almost twenty years since its opening, it has moved its premises in order to offer improved services to its guests in a more comfortable environment at a short distance from the port. The staff is the same, the same old friends, who are waiting for you with their professional expertise and kind care.
There is a courtesy shuttle service for our
guests from the hotels to Diving World. The Diving World structure covers an
area of about 350 square meters, which includes: reception, hiring room,
equipment, Diving World boutique, dressing room, store-room for guests equipment,
equipment rinsing, administration offices, workshop, teaching room, and a relax
area where to exchange our views at the end of the day on the extraordinary
meetings made underwater.
DAILY DIVES
Every morning our boats leave the port heading to the most significant scuba diving sites in Sharm, between the Tiran Straits and the point of Ras Mohammed. While out, two or more dives are made, with a lunch break with meal served on board. Non scuba divers can also spend a pleasant day on board and, equipped with flippers and mask, discover the beautiful shoals and depths of the Red Sea.Our expert, well prepared guides and instructors give briefings on every diving or snorkeling site and are always ready to answer any curiosity about this splendid sea.
Night diving expeditions are arranged once a week. Boarding takes place at sunset and return is made in time for dinner immediately after the underwater diving expedition.
Diving World is a PADI Center, and we have courses at all levels, from Open Water to Divemaster; included are also Specialty and Nitrox courses. Courses provide theory sessions on site with audiovisual aid, swimming pool sessions, and guided practical sessions in open waters.

OUTINGS TO THE WRECKS AND MINI-CRUISES
Diving trips to visit the wreck of the Thistlegorm are provided that entail an early departure from the dock and a late return. These excursions are usually organized at least once a week. With a minimum number of participants mini-cruises can be arranged to visit the Thistlegorm for one or two nights, or mini-cruises for three nights that include a diving expedition at Ras Mohammed.
The underwater diving expeditions at Ras Mohammed take place regularly every week. Special excursions can be arranged by boat or by land.
RENT AND REPAIR OF UNDERWATER DIVING EQUIPMENT
The Centre rents out B.C.D. jackets, snorkels, computers, wet suits, masks and fins. There is also a laboratory where small repairs can be made.
RENT AND SALE OF PHOTO-VIDEO MATERIAL
Diving World Sharm can supply underwater cameras and video cameras for the exclusive use of non- professionals. In various periods throughout the year special weekly outings are arranged specifically for photographing and filming underwater.
